Explosions in the Sky played Knockdown Center w/ FACS (pics, setlist, video)

Post-rock greats Explosions in the Sky are celebrating their 20th anniversary on tour, and that hit NYC over the weekend for a show at Queens’ Knockdown Center. As you’d expect from a tour celebrating two decades together, EITS’ 90-minute set hit highlights from throughout their discography including “Your Hand in Mine” (as heard on Friday Night Lights), and “Let Me Back In” from 2011’s Take Care, Take Care, Take Care blew the lid of the venue. Chicago’s dark, post-punk trio FACS made for a great start to the night.
