Eyehategod

In welcome news that shouldn’t be particularly surprising, after a year of hard touring behind their excellent new self-titled LP, Eyehategod will continue playing a bunch of shows in 2015. They’ve announced a two-night NYC run happening at Saint Vitus on February 6 and 7. The shows will feature excellent support — the first night featuring crusty Brooklyn crushers Mortals, who also released a great album, Cursed to See the Future, this year, and just finished touring with Wolvhammer. That first night lineup is filled out by two more Brooklyn bands, the sludgy Blackout and the grindcore outfit Scowl.

The second night will be find Eyehategod joined by absolutely filthy PA grinders Full Of Hell, who recently put out a collaborative album with Merzbow and are also opening for American Nightmare at Webster Hall (sold out). Night 2 also has local doom/electronic project Cleanteeth and New Jersey sludge crew Clamfight. Tickets for both shows are on sale now.

Meanwhile, Eyehategod’s Mike IX Williams on tour now with his other band Corrections House, having hit Saint Vitus this past Monday.
