EZTV release "Daytime" single ahead of tour with Ex Hex (watch the video)

It’s been a couple years since Brooklyn band EZTV released High in Place, and they’re currently working on the follow-up. While details are scant, they do have a new single, “Daytime,” which finds their breezy, jangly style of guitar pop in fine form. “‘Daytime’ is about wandering around aimlessly in a weird and professional part of town,” says frontman Ezra Tenenbaum. “Feeling underemployed and vaguely miserable as hundreds of people shuffle by in a hurry. But, it’s also about knowing how nice and fleeting it is to be alone and truly have nothing to do, kind of savoring moments of directionlessness.” The video for the song premieres in this post and you can check out the video below.

You can catch EZTV on tour this week with Ex Hex, including a show at Brooklyn’s The Bell House on Friday (9/7) which is part of the venue’s 10th anniversary. Tickets are still available. They’ll also play Baltimore, Boston, Asbury Park, and Philly. All dates are listed below.
