Father John Misty has shared a new song, “Pure Comedy,” and an accompanying video that was directed by designedmemory founder Matthew Daniel Siskin and “the rest of America.” On the six-minute piano-fueled treatise on the state of things, FJM muses on the state of things while a collage of images, including ones of Donald Trump, Hilary Clinton, Barack Obama, Kanye West, meme Pepe the Frog and others, are interspersed with animated illustrations.
