The late Chris Cornell will be celebrated on Wednesday (1/16) at “I Am The Highway,” a tribute show at the Los Angeles Forum. Since we last posted about it, there have been some lineup additions: Fiona Apple, Chris Stapleton, Miley Cyrus, Miguel, and Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme were all added to the lineup on Tuesday, Pitchfork reports.

Other recent additions include Faith No More/Mr. Bungle/Tomahawk/Dead Cross/etc frontman Mike Patton, who posted on Facebook, “very honored to be part of the tribute to Chris Cornell, Wednesday night in Los Angeles.” UPDATE: Mike Patton cancelled his NFL playoff game national anthem performance due to illness on Saturday night, and sadly he is still too sick to perform. He posted to Facebook, “unfortunately Im not going to be able to make the Chris Cornell tribute concert Wednesday night. Best wishes to my friends Ben, Kim and Matt and to Chris’s family. It is going to be quite an evening. I also want to thank the Los Angeles Rams for the invitation to sing the national anthem last weekend. A bad week to not be feeling good.”

Melvins, who are still touring with two bassists as a four-piece, will join members of Soundgarden at the show, and Perry Farrell and Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler will join members of Audioslave.

The lineup also includes Temple of the Dog, Foo Fighters, Metallica, and Ryan Adams, and Jimmy Kimmel is hosting. Tickets are on sale now, and proceeds benefit the Chris and Vicky Cornell Foundation and the Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation.
