Firefly 2017 lineup: Bob Dylan, Muse, Weezer, Chance the Rapper, Shins, AFI, Busta Rhymes, more

The 2017 Firefly Music Festival happens in Dover, Delaware from June 15-18, and the lineup is now announced. Most excitingly, Bob Dylan is one of the headliners! The other headliners are The Weeknd, Muse, Twenty One Pilots and Chance the Rapper.

Other stuff on the lineup that stands out is Flume, Weezer, The Shins, Miike Snow, Kesha, Franz Ferdinand, Phantogram, AFI, OK Go, Busta Rhymes, T-Pain, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Wale, Cashmere Cat, Francis and the Lights, Hamilton Leithauser, Maggie Rogers, Sunflower Bean and Taylor Bennett.

As usual, there’s a lot of mindie and EDM stuff filling out the lineup, but a Northeast festival with Bob Dylan, Busta Rhymes, and some long-running indie/alt staples like Weezer, The Shins, Franz Ferdinand, and Hamilton Leithauser? There are way worse ways to spend a weekend.

Firefly now has the self-appointed nickname of “The Fan-Curated Music Festival” and they write the following: “We want you to help build the Firefly experience. We’ll be asking for your ideas and opinions through surveys, polls, and contests on our Firefly community page. You’ll help choose the artists, merchandise designs, attractions on site, and tons of other festival elements. It’s your festival, so share your voice and let’s see what we create together.” You can contribute ideas here.

Festival passes are on sale now.
