First Aid Kit played new songs at Town Hall (pics, videos, setlist)

Swedish folk duo First Aid Kit have been on tour, and after playing both weekends of ACL Fest, they came to NYC for a sold-out show at Town Hall last night (10/18). The band haven’t released a new album since 2014 but they’re working on one, and they played new singles “You Are the Problem Here” and “It’s A Shame,” and not-yet-released new songs “Postcard” and “Fireworks” (the latter of which they joked was a Katy Perry cover). After playing “You Are the Problem Here,” which was released as a response to sexual assault on college campuses, First Aid Kit mentioned the #MeToo hashtag and dedicated the song to Harvey Weinstein, Roger Ailes, and Donald Trump (and some others). Pictures of the Town Hall show are in the gallery above. First Aid Kit’s setlist and videos of the new songs are below.

First Aid Kit will be back in NYC next year on February 13 at Beacon Theatre (tickets). Maybe there will be more info on a new album by then? Let’s hope.
