On October 2, Dam-Funk brings his distinctive West Coast musical style rooted in the early-’80s boogie, modern soul, and electro-funk to the Guggenheim’s rotunda. He’s joined by Brooklyn-based DJ Ge-ology, and together they will take you on an eclectic musical journey as you ascend the Guggenheim’s spiraling ramp to see Kandinsky, the exhibition described by the New York Times as “sensational.” During your visit, see how Kandinsky took inspiration from music in his pioneering efforts toward abstraction.
