Flasher, Public Practice & Gong Gong Gong releasing split tour 7" (stream a track)
Washington DC’s Flasher, Brooklyn’s Public Practice, and Beijing duo Gong Gong Gong are going on tour together starting at the end of November, including shows in DC, Cleveland, Chicago, Columbus, OH and NYC. For the trek they’re releasing a limited edition tour 7″ flexi featuring an exclusive track from each band. We’ve got the premiere of the Gong Gong Gong song, “Down Quantity Road.” Like much of what GGG do, it’s rooted in blues in a decayed, angular sort of way, and the band say it’s “a cryptic account of modern existence, where happiness is quantified and inescapably attached to productivity.” You can listen to that below.
The NYC dates on the tour is December 7 at Saint Vitus and tickets are on sale. All dates are listed below.
