The legendary Flipper are no longer with singer Bruce Loose, but the great David Yow (of Scratch Acid and The Jesus Lizard) is taking over and that incarnation of the band have been playing some shows. They already played House of Vans on Halloween, and they squeezed in another NYC show on Friday (11/6) at the Acheron. It quickly sold out, and well-matched locals The Austerity Program opened.
