Florence + The Machine covers Tori Amos's "Cornflake Girl" (listen)

Florence + The Machine released their fourth album, High As Hope, in June, and after hitting the festival circuit over the summer (including Osheaga), they recently set off on a North American headlining tour earlier this month. They’ve just shared a new Spotify session, too, which includes a new version of High As Hope track (and one of our songs of the summer) “Hunger,” and, excitingly, a cover of Tori Amos’s classic 1994 single from Under The Pink, “Cornflake Girl.” “Cornflake Girl” is perhaps one of Tori’s best known, signature songs, and Florence really does it justice here, hitting all the highlights of the original while adding unique touches from her own powerhouse voice. Listen to both songs below.

Florence’s tour takes her to Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on October 9, with an excellent opener: Kamasi Washington (who also contributed to High as Hope). Tickets are on sale now.
