Flying Lotus announces new album ft. Solange, Anderson Paak, David Lynch & more

Flying Lotus announced a new album and it’s got some very exciting guests: Solange, Anderson .Paak, David Lynch, George Clinton, Tierra Whack, Denzel Curry, Thundercat, Shabazz Palaces, Little Dragon and Toro y Moi. It’s called Flamagra and it drops May 24 via Warp. “I’d been working on stuff for the past five years, but it was always all over the place. I’d always had this thematic idea in mind—a lingering concept about fire, an eternal flame sitting on a hill,” FlyLo says. “Some people love it, some people hate it. Some people would go on dates there and some people would burn love letters in the fire.”

The first single is the David Lynch collab “Fire Is Coming,” which comes with a video directed by FlyLo and David Firth. Watch/listen below.

FlyLo is also planning to tour North America, Europe and Japan in the fall. Stay tuned for dates.
