Foals kicked off a two night stay in NYC with a show at Bowery Ballroom on Friday, 10/1 (pics in this post). The crowd was also treated to the dark folk styles of Esben & The Witch who opened the show. Foals played Music Hall of Williamsburg the next night (pics coming) and are now on tour. They hit Austin City Limits on 10/10 and log more US dates before heading back to the UK by month’s end.

Esben & The Witch, who also played Matador 21 over the weekend, will be back in NYC to support A Sunny Day in Glasgow on 10/26 at Knitting Factory. Tickets are still available.
