Foxygen share new song "Be Yourself"; tour starts this week in NYC
Foxygen start their tour, with their horn-enhanced mega-version of their lineup, on Friday (3/24) at NYC’s Terminal 5 (tickets). Ahead of that they’ve shared a brand new song, “Be Yourself,” which is as catchy as anything on their new album, and is reminiscent of sunny ’70s pop like early Chicago. They wrote the song for upcoming Amazon family special An American Girl Story – Ivy & Julie 1976: A Happy Balance. (You may remember Best Coast wrote a song for the last American Girl special.) Foxygen’s T5 show is with Sunflower Bean and Purr, but most of the tour is with Australia’s Gabriella Cohen who plays East Village club Berlin tonight (tickets). Updated Foxygen dates are listed below.
