Frameworks releasing ‘Time Spent’ EP (stream the title track)

Gainesville’s Frameworks became one of the more promising new bands in the current wave of screamo with their 2014 debut album Loom. Now they’re set to follow it with the Time Spent EP in February via Topshelf, and from the sound of the title track they’re only getting better. Loom often had them working in a bright-yet-raw style of screamo, but “Time Spent” is both darker and grander sounding. Listen below (via Noisey).

Frameworks are playing a few West Coast dates in January opening for From Autumn to Ashes, who play NYC this month.

01.23.16 – San Francisco, CA @ Slim’s
