Francis & the Lights ready new EP (check out videos)

Francis & the Lights is a name that hasn’t been in the news for a while. You might remember their futuristic piano-pop record It’ll Be Better, which came out in 2010 (for sugary, soulful ’80s sounds see “For Days” and “Darling, It’s Alright”). Or singer Francis Farewell Starlight’s production/co-writing on Thank Me Later Drake song “Karaoke.” Or his obsessively documented piano practice sessions.

Either way, for fans of his hooky R&B-influenced ballads, there’s more on the way. A new EP titled Like a Dream is due November 25 on Good Years Recordings. Check out videos for two of those songs — “ETC,” which came out in May, and “If They Don’t Come Tomorrow,” which came out today — below….
