Free Throw Delicious

Free Throw confront their vices in new "Today Is Especially Delicious" video

Next week (3/29), Free Throw will release their anticipated new album What’s Past Is Prologue on Triple Crown (pre-order), and ahead of the release we’re premiering the new video for “Today Is Especially Delicious.” The song is about acknowledging your own unhealthy behavior, and the fruit in the video is a metaphor for singer Cory Castro’s vices. Musically, Free Throw don’t shy away from stadium-sized emo/pop punk hooks, but Cory’s also got a post-hardcore grit that gives this record an edge. If you’re looking forward to that new PUP album, I think you’re gonna dig this one too. Check out the new video below.

Free Throw also have two upcoming tours, both of which hit the NYC-area. Next week, they’re hitting the road with Tiny Moving Parts and worlds greatest dad, including a gig at Long Island’s Revolution Bar on 3/29 (tickets). After that, they’re teaming up with Seaway, Heart Attack Man, and Young Culture for a trek that lands at Brooklyn Bazaar on 4/23 (tickets).

Free Throw also play the final Bled Fest in Michigan on May 25 alongside The Wonder Years, Camp Cope, Aaron West & the Roaring Twenties, and many others (tickets). All of their dates are listed below.
