free tickets to Queens of the Stone Age's MSG show are hidden in NYC subways

Queens of the Stone Age‘s tour behind this year’s Villains is about to land in NYC at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday (10/24). Tickets are still available, and, as Gothamist points out, the band’s label Matador Records has hidden three sets of free tickets to the show at the 57th Street/7th Avenue, 14th Street-Union Square, and Canal Street/Broadway stops of the Q train. On the entrances to each of those stops, the “Q” has been replaced with the “Q” from Queens of the Stone Age’s logo. To be one of the lucky ones, you may have to act quick.

QOTSA were last in the NYC-area to play the Capitol Theatre in September. We also caught them at Riot Fest (review).

They recently played Cal Jam 2017, put together by sometimes-QOTSA-drummer Dave Grohl’s other band Foo Fighters, who just announced a tour today (including Jones Beach and two MSG shows).
