Friends at Bowery Ballroom – 7/7/12

Brooklyn’s Friends are currently touring in support of their debut album, Manifest (out now on Fat Possum), and that tour brought them to NYC for a show at Bowery Ballroom last Saturday (7/7) with Splash. They didn’t go topless this time, like in Austin earlier this month, and seemed a bit more subdued in general, though they did invite people on stage to dance during their cover of Usher’s “My Boo.” The people up front were pretty dancey and enthusiastic for most of the show too.
