Fujiya & Miyagi reissuing ‘Transparent Things’ for 10th anniversary, release new “Collarbone” remix

Fujiya & Miyagi‘s 2007 album, Transparent Things, found their style in full effect — an infectious pop take on Krautrock styles, both the funky Can type, as well as the motoroik Neu! side, with some Kraftwerk bleeps and bloops in there as well. The album is being reissued on vinyl and CD for its 10th anniversary, and will be out November 17. (Preorder) It comes with a bonus full version of the Different Blades for the Same Pair of Scissors 43-minute running mix that was commissioned by Nike. Meanwhile, F&M have also commission a new “Osteology Mix” remix of single “Collarbone” by AKDK and that premieres in this post. Listen to that, and check out original videos for “Collarbone” and “Ankle Injuries” and a stream of the whole LP, below.

The band will also be on tour in Europe this fall — all dates are listed below.
