Williamsburg Park 2013 summer schedule (so far)

Williamsburg Park earlier this year (more by Amanda Hatfield)
Williamsburg Park

As you may know, outdoor Brooklyn venue Williamsburg Park (at Kent Ave and N 12 St) is hosting shows again this summer. This year’s series kicked off during Memorial Day Weekend with a show from The Shins and Man Man, and continues this Saturday (6/29) with a free show from the Julliard Jazz Ensemble. It’s an afternoon show (4 PM) and open to the public.

On the down side, the Kendrick Lamar show at Williamsburg Park that was supposed to happen in September was just cancelled. But on the plus side, Charles Bradley will be playing there for free that month.

Other Williamsburg Park shows happening this summer: the Odd Future and Meek Mill show on July 20 which Schoolboy Q was just added to; New Order and Holy Ghost! on July 24; D’Angelo on August 1; and the Mad Decent Block Party (Major Lazer, Flosstradamus, Rockie Fresh & more) on August 10.

The Mad Decent Block party is sold out, but tickets are still available to all the other shows.
