FYF Fest 2016 lineup (Kendrick, Grace Jones, LCD Soundsystem, Tame Impala, Air, ANOHNI, Wolf Parade, Saves the Day, more)
The annual LA music festival FYF Fest returns this year on August 27 and 28 in Exposition Park. The lineup is awesome as always, including headliners Kendrick Lamar and Tame Impala on day 1 and LCD Soundsystem and Grace Jones on day 2. The fest also includes the first Air show in the US in five years, the LA debut of ANOHNI‘s HOPELESSNESS show (Oneohtrix Point Never included), the reunited Wolf Parade, and Saves the Day playing Stay What You Are in full (reportedly the only time they’re doing this).
That’s all in addition to Grimes, Beach House, Hot Chip, Father John Misty, Explosions in the Sky, Rae Sremmurd, Blood Orange, Young Thug, Moby (DJ), Vince Staples, Shellac, Todd Terje, Charles Bradley, Ty Segall, Junior Boy, Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats, Peter Bjorn & John, Chelsea Wolfe, Floating Points, Hop Along, Viet Cong, Julia Holter, Head Wound City, Julien Baker, Sheer Mag and more. It’s the only festival Grace Jones is playing this year, and the only west coast festival Kendrick Lamar is playing. TIckets go on sale Friday (4/1) at noon PST.
