Gang of Four never got on stage in Brooklyn (show cancelled after opener)
Gang of Four…just cancelled tonight’s show.

UPDATE (2/26): Andy Gill was hospitalized, the band have released a statement.
Tonight’s Gang of Four show in Brooklyn — their last night of tour — was moved at some point from Rough Trade to the bigger Music Hall of Wiliamsburg, and then again did not go on as planned. Public Practice played their opening set, but around 10pm people were told the headliners would not actually be playing, and the show was over.
No details yet on what went down, but we hope it’s nothing serious for Andy Gill (the only original member) and gang. We’ll update with more details as we hear them. You can see a few more tweets and Instagrams from dissapointed fans, below…

waiting for Gang of Four (*gang of one, since there’s only one original member on this tour) for 45 mins, THEN they announce that they’re cancelling. crowd wondering if it’s a joke. it’s not. lots of disappointment but no violence, or even angry shouting. old post-punkers are mellow now. “natural’s not in it!” #gangoffour
