Gesaffelstein @ Kings Theatre (pics, video)

French dance music producer Gesaffelstein brought his Requiem tour to the majestic King’s Theater in Brooklyn for two shows which, on night two at least, made the French dance music enthusiast community very happy. Adorned with his signature Balmain-designed mask and cloak, Gesaffelstein presented a mix of songs from Hyperion and 2013’s Aleph. None of the album’s big name guests (Haim, Pharrell) made an appearance, and, like his statuesque image, he barely moved from his spot between his two consoles, but there was a mind-blowing lighting and laser display.

There also was no opener, and Gesaffelstein actually went on 45 minutes earlier than billed. Check out pics from the show in the gallery above, and a few fan-taken video clips below.
