Girl Band share “Paul” videos from new LP, touring this fall

by Bill Pearis

Girl Band

Girl Band‘s debut album, Holding Hands With Jamie, is less than a month away (9/25 via Rough Trade) and you can check out the recent video for its single, “Paul,” in this post. Directed by Bob Gallagher, it is — like most Girl Band videos — weird and funny and disturbing. In this case, it involves men dressed in furry animal costumes. Check it out, plus a live montage of “Paul” filmed at Electric Picnic 2014, below.

The new album gives a close approximation of what Girl Band are live onstage, but they are really a band best experienced live. They’ve been through the States a couple times already this year but Girl Band return to tour this fall with two NYC shows: December 11 at Saint Vitus and December 12 at Baby’s All Right. Tickets to both shows are on sale now.
