Converse Rubber Tracks again took over Music Hall of Williamsburg on Friday (8/9), this time featuring a headlining set from Long Island post-hardcore favorites Glassjaw, along with the emo-leaning Balance & Composure (who just debuted a new track on SPIN) and Queens hip hop collective World’s Fair. The “sold out” show was free and open to the public, and pictures from Friday’s MHoW show are in this post.
There’s another Rubber Tracks shows scheduled for NYC in August: Red Fang/Doomriders/Low Fat Getting High are scheduled to play 285 Kent on 8/22. (No more tickets for that one, either.)
As discussed, Worlds Fair have one more show on the schedule this month, at the PS1 Warm Up show at MoMA on 8/27 with J Cole, King Britt, Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire and more. Glassjaw, on the other hand, won’t appear for another show in the area until November, when they play Long Island.
