Glastonbury 2020 is officially cancelled

Last week, Glastonbury announced its 2020 lineup in the midst of a sea of coronavirus-induced cancellations, and organizer Emily Eavis said, “No one has a crystal ball to see exactly where we will all be 15 weeks from now, but we are keeping our fingers firmly crossed that it will be here at Worthy Farm for the greatest show on Earth!”

Well, unfortunately, it only took six days to decide to call the whole thing off until next year. They write:

As the statement mentions, 2020 tickets will be honored in 2021 so hang on to your tix. (And if you can’t go next year, refunds are available.)

Glastonbury 2020 was to have included Kendrick Lamar, Paul McCartney, Taylor Swift, Diana Ross, Thom Yorke, JARV IS…, Lana Del Rey, Robyn, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Kacey Musgraves, FKA twigs, Angel Olsen, Primal Scream, and much more.
