The free Bang on a Can Marathon at the World Financial Center yesterday (June 4, 2006) was a LONG event. It went from like noon to 10:30 pm. I unfortunately got there too late to see Matmos (review up on the Music Slut), but not too late to catch a two-song double-drumming set by Wilco’s Glenn Kotche and Bang on a Can’s David Cossin. The host introduced them as his dream-combination, and it was definitely a pretty impressive all-percussion performance.
