Goblin Cock

Goblin Cock (Rob Crow) releasing first album since 2009, touring (dates, stream)

Though Pinback is no more, Rob Crow is staying busy. He already released a great debut album with his new band Rob Crow’s Gloomy Place earlier this year, and now he’s revisiting his stoner rock band Goblin Cock. Goblin Cock will release Necronomindonkeykongimicon, their first album since 2009, on September 2 via Joyful Noise (pre-order). The first single, “Something Haunted,” is out now. It’s loaded with heavy, fuzzy stoner riffs, and Rob Crow’s (I mean, Lord Phallus’) unmistakable voice leads the way. It’s great stuff, and you can listen below (via Stereogum).

Goblin Cock also announced a tour, including a NYC show on September 25 at Knitting Factory. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (7/8) at 10 AM. All dates are listed below.
