It’s not New Year’s Eve without Gogol Bordello, whose hard-partying live show is perfect for the celebratory, booze-filled night. This year they played NYE in DC, but right before that, they did two shows at Brooklyn Steel with Lucky Chops. We caught the first show — Thursday, December 28 — which was as wild as you’d expect and included tons of fan favorites like “My Companjera,” “Alcohol,” “Immigraniada,” “Not A Crime,” “Start Wearing Purple,” and plenty of others.
