Goldie touring, DJing NYC in April
Drum and bass icon Goldie spent much of 2015 celebrating the 20th anniversary of his classic debut album Timeless and at the end of the year he was awarded the MBE– Member of the Order of the British Empire, an award that honors “contributions to the arts and sciences, work with charitable and welfare organizations and public service outside the Civil Service.” He’s not letting that get to his head though as he’s continuing to stay busy with gigs. He’ll be DJing the “Dark Disco” party at New York’s dim sum palace and dance club 88 Palace on April 16. Tickets are on sale now.
That is currently Goldie’s only North American date, but he’ll be doing the festival circuit in the UK and EU this summer. All dates are listed, along with a stream of Timeless, below.
