Quebecois death metal genius Luc Lemay brought his Gorguts tour with Intronaut and Brain Tentacles to NYC over the weekend. They played Le Poisson Rouge on October 30, and we’ve got pictures of the show in the gallery above.
It was a special show, as Gorguts played their new, insane 30+ minute composition Pleiades’ Dust in full, along with a handful of classics from throughout the band’s excellent discography (full setlist below). The support was very cool too –Intronaut provide a kind of technical doom-metal that is something of a rare bird, and Brain Tentacles are true saxophone-drenched weirdos.
