Gorillaz announce Demon Dayz LA lineup (Erykah Badu, The Internet, DRAM, more)

Gorillaz‘ upcoming tour for The Now Now ends with a Los Angeles edition of their roving Demon Dayz festival, taking place Saturday, October 20 at Pico Rivera Sports Arena & Grounds. Demon Dayz features “an eclectic lineup of special guests and collaborators from within and beyond the Gorillaz extended family, plus an assortment of surprises, attractions, exclusive merchandise and more—all combining to create an auditory, visual and physical version of the Gorillaz universe for fans to explore.” The lineup includes Erykah Badu, The Internet, DRAM, Little Simz, Kilo Kish, Ana Tijoux, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Tony Allen, Las Cafeteras and Chulita Vinyl Club.

Tickets for Demon Dayz L.A. are on AmEx presale now and go on sale to the general public Friday, June 8 at 10 AM PST.

Gorillaz’ new album The Now Now is out June 29 and you can watch the video for first single “Humility,” which features a mugging-for-the-camera Jack Black in Venice Beach, below.

Tony Allen is one of Damon Albarn’s collaborators in The Good The Bad and The Queen who also have a new album on the way.
