Greg Ashley on tour behind new Trouble in Mind LP ‘Pictures of Saint Paul’


Greg Ashley, formerly of Texas band The Gris Gris, released new album Pictures of Saint Paul Street over the summer on the Trouble in Mind label, a lovely record in the late ’60s / early ’70s singer-songwriter style, full of detuned piano, vintage synths, acoustic guitars, sun-dappled melodies and thoughtful lyrics. You can stream the whole thing below.

You can also catch Greg on tour this fall, and he’s got two NYC-area shows: November 2 at WFMU Monty Hall in Jersey City with Black Flamingos and headiners The Woggles (tickets) and a TBA NYC show on November 3. All tour dates are listed below.
