Gregory Pepper

With a wry sense of humor and a Nilsson-esque approach to songwriting, Guelph, Ontario resident Gregory Pepper is charmingly self-depricating on his new album Escape from Crystal Mountain which came out this month via Fake Four Inc. It packs in 17 songs and an impressive amount of hooks into 26 minutes. You can download two tracks at the top of this post. One of those, “At Least I’m Not a Musician,” is available in video form below along with a clip for “Born to Die.”

Gregory Pepper and His Problems are on their way down from Canada as we speak for a short East Coast U.S. tour, which will hit NYC for two shows: Sunday, September 2 at Glasslands and Tuesday, September 4 at Pianos. Both shows are with Pepper’s labelmates Cars & Trains (aka Tom Filipp) and David Ramos.

All dates are listed at the bottom of this post, along with music streams and videos.
