GWAR-B-Q sets 2016 date; Iron Reagan touring before This is Hardcore fest

The date for this year’s Gwar-B-Q has been set, so you can drop a pin in Richmond and circle August 20th on your calendars while we wait to hear who (aside from GWAR) will be performing. They’ve put out a commercial for the annual event, which you can check out below.

The day after the announcement, which conveniently came on March 31st, Gwar released a video saying that Gwar-B-Q was cancelled. April fools! You can check that out below as well.

Meanwhile, Richmond buddies Iron Reagan, who share a similarly warped sense of humor with the GWAR boys, are hitting the road for a quick run of dates in the southeast in addition to playing the stacked This is Hardcore fest. They’ll hit Savannah and three dates in Florida. They also have a show in Boston coming up as part of that huge Discharge tour that also involves Eyehategod and Toxic Holocaust.
