Half Waif playing Brooklyn show before Julien Baker tour
Half Waif (the art pop band fronted by Nandi Rose Plunkett, whose members also play in Pinegrove) released a great new EP earlier this year, and they’ll be joining Julien Baker on her North American tour this fall as an opener, in support of Baker’s upcoming second album, Turn Out the Lights.
As mentioned, the Julien Baker tour includes a stop at NYC’s Town Hall on October 27 (tickets). In addition, Half Waif has just added their own NYC-area headlining show beforehand, at Brooklyn’s Alphaville on September 12 with Squad Car and Coolin’. Tickets for that show are on sale now. All dates are listed below.
Pinegrove will be going on tour later this year across North America (without Plunkett in tow, however). They’ll be playing two shows at NYC’s Irving Plaza on December 6 and December 7, respectively. Tickets for night one have sold out, but tickets for night two are still on sale.
