Hannibal Buress debuted his new Comedy Central show 'Why?'; Flying Lotus is now the house DJ

Comedian Hannibal Buress really has come such a long way from his earlier days as a regular at small shows around NYC. He was already an actor on one Comedy Central show, Broad City, and his own series, Why? with Hannibal Buress, made its debut on Comedy Central a couple week’s ago:

Why? with Hannibal Buress provides a glimpse into the offbeat mind of this laid-back comedian. Each episode tackles topical issues with sketches, man-on-the-street interviews and special guests as well as stand-up in front of a studio audience. If it’s in the zeitgeist, Buress will dissect it — and he’ll finally get answers to all his burning questions.

The first episode was a little shaky, but the second episode — which marked the debut of Flying Lotus as the show’s house DJ — was a marked improvement. It’s not the first time the two have teamed up. The third episode airs Wednesday night (7/22) at 10:30 PM EST.

Hannibal has a few live appearances coming up too, but nothing in NYC at the moment. Check out a recent ‘Comedy Central Exclusive’ video of him at Comic-Con below…
