Happyness share "Bigger Glass Less Full" from new LP, playing Northside w/ U.S. Girls

UK band Happyness have shared “Bigger Glass Less Full” from their upcoming LP Write In. These guys excel at that sonic midpoint between Wilco and Pavement, slacker charm but all hooks (and more panache than it seems at first glance). You can stream that below.

Write In is out April 7 via Bar-None and the band were just in the States for SXSW where they pulled double duty, playing both their own shows as well as serving as the backing band for R. Stevie Moore & Jason Falkner (like at our second day party). They’ll be back in June, playing Brooklyn’s Baby’s All Right on 6/10 as part of Northside Fest, a show that’s with U.S. Girls and more TBA. Tickets will be on sale soon. All dates are listed below.

U.S. Girls have another Northside show, June 9 at Knitting Factory with Emily Reo and Tredici Bacci. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday, March 24 at noon.
