Hard Girls releasing 'Floating Now' this week (stream it in full)
Hard Girls — whose members also play in Jeff Rosenstock’s band, Dan Andriano’s band, Operation Ivy singer Jesse Michaels’ band Classics of Love, and more — are following 2014’s A Thousand Surfaces with their third album, Floating Now, this Friday (10/6) via Asian Man (pre-order). It was engineered by Jack Shirley (who’s also recorded Jeff Rosenstock, Joyce Manor, Deafheaven, and more), and it’s a new 12-song dose of their driving, melodic indie-punk. Fans of anything from Superchunk’s sugary side to Dillinger Four’s more aggressive stuff will likely find something to dig here. A full stream premieres below.
