Have A Nice Life

Have A Nice Life, Planning for Burial, more playing Flenser showcase in NYC

Cult-fave dark music act Have A Nice Life finally returned to the stage for the first time in seven years in 2018, and they’re set to continue playing shows in 2019 too. They already announced that they’d be playing their beloved 2008 debut Deathconsciousness in full at the Tomas Lindberg-curated Roadburn Festival (in addition to a “regular” set), and they’ve now got a NYC show announced too.

It’s a showcase for the label they’re on, The Flenser, and includes their labelmates Planning for Burial, Wreck and Reference, Elizabeth Colour Wheel, and Consumer (the new-ish project of Tim from Have A Nice Life). It goes down March 16 at Brooklyn Bazaar. Tickets go on sale Friday (1/4).

No other HANL dates announced at the moment, but stay tuned in case that changes. Their most recent album is 2014’s great The Unnatural World.
