Helmet share new song "Bad News"

The great Helmet recently announced their first album in six years, Dead to the World, would be out on October 28. Now they’ve given us the first taste of new music in the form of a song called “Bad News.” It’s an extremely catchy song, registering as something like Helmet plays Lennon/McCartney. It still crushes, but it prioritizes melody as much as these guys ever have. Listen to it here:

As mentioned, Helmet are touring with fellow alt-rockers Local H. That run includes two NYC shows, at Highline Ballroom on November 12 (tickets), and at MHOW on November 13 (tickets).
