We’ve organized a day of advocacy in Far Rockaway to aid those who continue to suffer in the wake of Hurricane Sandy and we need your help.
Want to join us but don’t know how to get there? Uber is sponsoring FREE transportation between Manhattan and our volunteer site at 2052 Mott Avenue. They’ll send cars to pick us up at 8am from 37 W. 28th St (28th St. btw Broadway and 6th Ave) and take us and our supplies to Far Rockaway where we’ll get started at 9am.
NOTE: Uber is generously transporting over 200 of us tomorrow! If you haven’t emailed [email protected] to confirm your ride, we can’t promise transportation tomorrow.

SUPPLIES: Paper Towels, Plastic garbage bags, Bathroom tissue, Hand sanitizer, Soap, Toothpaste + toothbrushes, Deodorant, Moisturizing lotion, Feminine products, Household cleaning products, Rubber cleaning gloves, Baby diapers and baby wipes
FOOD: Anything non-perishable, Breakfast Bars, Protein bars, Crackers, Chips, Cookies, Canned spaghetti, Canned tuna, Canned meats, Canned vegetables, Juice boxes
