here's Christian Lee Hutson's self-isolation playlist

As mentioned, Christian Lee Hutson is releasing his debut album Beginners on May 29 via ANTI-. It was produced by Phoebe Bridgers (whose bands Better Oblivion Community Center and boygenius both previously worked with Christian), and you can hear is latest single “Talk” at the bottom of this post. Christian is also scheduled to open The Magnetic FieldsCity Winery residences unless coronavirus gets in the way.

Speaking of, Christian made us a playlist of the music he’s been listening to in isolation, including songs by Bright Eyes, Fenne Lily, Hand Habits, The National, Yowler, Julia Jacklin, Helado Negro, and more. Christian says, “I made a playlist of some songs I’ve been listening to in isolation. Some are songs written by friends that I miss and wish I could see. Some are songs that remind me of the people I love. Some are songs about boredom, worrying, sickness, loneliness, and the end of the world.”
