Hey Mercedes are back, announce 'Everynight Fire Works' 15th anniversary reissue & tour
Does Bob Nanna sleep? His band Lifted Bells have a new EP coming, Braid and The City on Film have been very active lately, and the recent Wrecking Ball lineup includes the first-announced Hey Mercedes show since 2007. Excitingly, Hey Mercedes have now announced a full reunion tour which celebrates the 15th anniversary of their classic Everynight Fire Works and its accompanying The Weekend EP. Topshelf Records, which is also currently home to Braid and The City On Film, will remaster and reissue the album and EP on July 8.
One of the shows happens in NYC on July 13 at Bowery Ballroom. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (4/1) at noon and they’re on AmEx presale now.
