For more legendary New York rap, EPMD will play BB King’s on March 1. Tickets are on sale.

For even more, Rakim, Raekwon, Melle Mel and Jarobi of A Tribe Called Quest will join The Soul Rebels at their Brooklyn Bowl shows.

On another note, indie rapper milo hits The Hall at MP on February 23 with Elucid and Denmark Vesey. Tickets are on sale.

Kodak Black, whose tour comes here on March 1 at Playstation Theater (tickets), just released a new song called “I Need Love” which takes the beat from LL Cool J’s 1987 song of the same name.

For some more new tunes, Jacquees and DeJ Loaf are releasing the collaborative Fuck A Friend Zone mixtape this Friday and you can hear “Deeper” from it now.

Frequent Danny Brown collaborator Paul White, who produced most of last year’s excellent Atrocity Exhibition, will release a collab EP with Danny this Friday called Accelerator on R&S Records. The video for the title track is out now.

Lupe Fiasco is releasing his new album DROGAS Light on Friday, and the whole thing is streaming now. It’s got guest spots from Ty Dolla $ign, Rick Ross, Big K.R.I.T., and more.
