Hot Snakes share teaser for new song
Hot Snakes are gonna release their first new record in 14 years this year and while they haven’t given out all (any) of the details yet, today they shared about a minute of a new song that seem to be called “Why Don’t it Sink In?” It’s a crazed track that comes with an equally crazed video that Swami John Reis made on his phone. (They also say the “entire album” was recorded on his phone but, you know, probably not.) You can watch that below.
Having gone on a BrooklynVegan-presented tour this past fall, Hot Snakes will be on the road for more North American shows in March and tickets for those shows are on sale now. All dates are listed below.
Meanwhile, Sub Pop is reissuing Hot Snakes’ Automatic Midnight, Suicide Invoice, and Audit in Progress on January 19.
