Post-hardcore greats Hot Snakes are planning their first album since 2004, which will come out in 2018 via Sub Pop, but first they’re going on a BrooklynVegan-presented tour this fall. We’re pleased to reveal the openers for that tour. Select dates will have wild Montreal band Duchess Says, Obits/The Make-Up offshoot SAVAK, Thermals/Bangs offshoot Hurry Up, Boston indie-punks Pile, The Soft Pack’s Matt Lamkin with his band The Fast Foods, Castle Face signees and Ty Segall collaborators FEELS, Seattle noise rockers Dreamdecay, Suicide Pact, Suicide Notes and Piggies.

The Brooklyn date, which happens November 16 at The Bell House and is sold out, is with Piggies and SAVAK, whose new album Cut-Ups will be out by then. SAVAK also tour with Pinback before the Hot Snakes tour, including the NYC show on 10/8 at Irving Plaza (tickets).
