Hound

Philly’s Hound is the band fronted by artist Perry Shall (who’s designed album covers for JEFF the Brotherhood and Diarrhea Planet) and he’s backed by the impressive rhythm section of Ted Leo + the Pharmacists‘ Chris Wilson and None More Black‘s Colin McGinniss. Together, they make ’70s-style hard rock filtered through a garage punk lens, as you can hear on their new single “Little One.” The track will appear on their upcoming LP, Out of Time, due 11/28 via SRA Records (pre-order) and it debuts in this post. You can listen below.

The band will celebrate the LP with a release show in their hometown on November 7 at Boot & Saddle. It’s an SRA Records showcase and is also a release show for Psychic Teens‘ new 7″, plus includes ’80s-era Philly hardcore vets Flag of Democracy and Spectrum Disorder (aka Autistic Behavior).
