How to destroy angels_ reveal LP cover art and new video, making live debut at Coachella

HTDA

Trent Reznor’s title-case-adverse project How to destroy angels_ have been teasing us with singles and EPs but are plotting a full length coming out this spring. On March 5, the band — which features Reznor’s wife Mariqueen Maandig and soundtrack collaborator Atticus Ross — will release their debut album, Welcome oblivion, via Columbia. That’s the cover art to the vinyl version above; the CD will have different artwork. The vinyl also has a couple extra tracks not on the CD/digital release and the song order varies between formats as well. Track lists for both are below

The group have also released the video for single “How long?” which was directed by talented collective Shynola, who have helmed clips for Radiohead, Junior Senior and Blur, not to mention title sequences for The IT Crowd and Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World. You can watch the video below.

A month or so after the album’s release, How to destroy angels_ will make their live debut at Coachella 2013, which is now sold-out.
